My Family Tabbouli Salad Recipe

Prep time: 30 minutes


Ingredients:

Parsley ~ 2 bunches

Bulgar ~ 1/4 cup

Tomato ~ 4 tomatoes

Mint ~ 1/2 cup or 12 leaves

White onion ~ 1 medium

Lemon ~ 1 or 2 depending on your liking of sourness

Olive oil ~ 3-4 tbsp

Salt ~ for taste


Servings: 6-8













Directions:

Chop your parsley, your mint and onion until very fine.

Dice your tomatoes.

Let the bulgar soak in some warm or hot water for about 15 minutes.

Blend all dry ingredients together in a bowl.

Add the olive oil. Squeeze the lemon juice over the mixture, add some salt and mix.


 

As usual, modify how much of each ingredient you'd like to use to your liking. I personally love it with extra lemon, so I use two instead of one. If you're not big on onions, use half the onion or green onions or no onion at all if you can't stand them.
