My favorite snickerdoodle recipe

Ingredients:

Flour -2 cups

Sugar -1 ½ cups

Cinnamon -3 tbsp

Baking soda -2 tsp

Eggs -2 medium

Butter -1 cup, softened

Vanilla extract -1 tbsp

Some salt

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, add butter and sugar, blend with a mixer. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and continue mixing. In a separate bowl, add the flour, baking soda, 1 cup of the sugar and salt and whisk together. It’s best to allow the dough to cool and chill a bit before immediately forming into balls. So place into the fridge for 20-45 minutes. In a small bowl or plate, mix together with a fork the remaining ½ cup of sugar and cinnamon tablespoons. Form cookie dough balls and roll them around in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place them onto a parchment lined baking sheet or greased baking sheet. Into the oven they go and allow to bake for 10 minutes, could be longer or shorter by just a few minutes depending on the oven. Keep an eye on them. They are done when they have flattened out and the cinnamon-sugar coating has cripsed and while they may be crispy on the outside, they are soft and fluffy on the inside.
