These are breakfast meals to quickly whip up if you have about 5-20 minutes to wait for breakfast in the morning. No one likes to wait for food but trust me these breakfast ideas will be worth the wait when done.
Veggie Rolls. I know, who has vegetables for breakfast but believe me it's not as bad as you might think. I don't know about you but I love vegetables way more than fruit. Having sweet, juicy fruits first thing in the morning isn't the most tempting to someone like myself and I'm sure I'm not alone here. Grab your preferred veggies and slice em' up. Place them in your choice of wrap which could be rice paper, lettuce or pastry dough. I personally love the rice paper. The dough will require frying in some oil to be cooked. Seriously recommend each and every one of you to try these out. They are delicious and savory!
Breakfast Sandwiches. These too go under the savory category. Place two english muffins on a plate, you may toast them if you'd like. Add your choice of protein; fluffy egg, egg whites, turkey, ham, veggies, potatoes, chicken literally anything you want as your protein. Then add some cheese and something fresh to lighten it up and make healthy, like a tomato slice.
Toast. Now I understand how trendy toast has become. Still it has so many variations to be made tasty. Simply toast a piece of bread or two. What you place on the toast comes from what you are craving. Hummus, avocado, ricotta, jam, egg, feta, yogurt, mozzarella etc. I have post on just toast recipes which are phenomenal. Don't even get me started on the endless toppings. you can choose from.
Cake. Yes cake! You can have cake for breakfast. The catch is its gotta be good for you. No chocolate fudge cake. This is like dessert breakfast. You already know there is a myriad of notable breakfast cakes some examples being a coffee cake, blueberry lemon cake, cream-cheese filled cake, and apple filled cakes. For each of these recipes just click on em' and it'll take you to my version of those breakfast cake recipes.
Pizza. Like the cake this isn't particularly just a regular pizza you have for dinner that you're gonna eat for breakfast. Although many people have done that. A breakfast pizza consists of; a pizza crust, a cheese sauce, breakfast meat(s), eggs, hash browns, scallions. Assemble your pizza then plane in the oven to bake for about 20 to 25 minutes. There you go - pizza for breakfast.
A Tip
To minimize time in the kitchen in the morning and save more time for yourself, make some these recipes the night before (if you're able to) to just be able to grab them and go or throw them in the oven while you get ready. If it's something like the breakfast pizza, you can prepare it all the way and place it in the fridge to be baked in the morning when you wake you up.
