So this is going to follow my normal or literally any Caesar salad recipe but with just a few tweaks so that picky eaters like myself are happy we’re not eating any anchovies. Let’s just get into the recipe. And honestly in my opinion, I think this recipe is a lot easier.
Ingredients:
1 romaine heart ~ washed and chopped
½ cup croutons
⅓ cup parmesan cheese ~ grated
Dressing:
¼ cup Mayo
¼ Milk
1 lemon
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove ~ minced
¼ cup Parmesan cheese ~ grated
Directions:
Into a large salad bowl, throw in the lettuce then the croutons and cheese.
In a food processor, pour your milk in then the worcestershire sauce. Add the mustard, mayo, garlic and cheese. Finally squeeze the lemon over. Blend it until a smooth and creamy consistency has formed. But again, you can add more or less liquid ingredients depending on how thick or thin you like your dressing to be.
Pour your dressing over and mix. Serve.
