Authentic Middle Eastern Moms Hummus Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup dry chickpeas ~ cooked

1 lemon

4 tablespoons tahini

1 garlic clove

Olive oil and salt



Directions:

Add the chickpeas into any food processor you have, doesn’t matter what size or brand. Allow the chickpeas to become fine in grain then add in the garlic clove, salt, and olive oil. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze its juice in. I say this with most of my recipes but I don’t like adding measurements near things such as oil or salt/seasonings, I feel these should be adjusted to however it is you like it. Eyeball this to your preference. Once it’s become completely smooth and creamy, serve. You may garnish with paprika, pomegranate, parsley, olive oil or even a few chickpeas in the center.
