BioClarity

I should probably get this out of the way but I subscribed to BioClarity a while back when it was still new and trendy. Nonetheless, I remember how their products worked on my skin. Oh, I have combination skin. So I ordered the Clear Skin Routine which comes with a cleanser, salicylic acid for acne, and Floralux. Floralux is basically chlorophyll from plants with antioxidants that will improve the skins complexion. Along with that set, I added their Clarifying Masque. I'm here simply giving my honest review on how they performed on my skin for a month starting with my fave to least fave. With that said, here's what I thought.

The one product I thought worked best was the Clarifying Masque. Every single time I used it, my face felt so fresh and clean! Literally felt like a brand new face. Really wish I kept repurchasing it but I also wanted to give other masks a chance and try new things. But this mask was definitely a holy-grail 🙌🏻. It had a very thick consistency. Army green color. Strong mud like smell. Felt very cool applying to my face. It also came with the cutest green applicator so you don't have to use your hands. Once applied, I left it on for 30 minutes then washed. Now because I loved the results of this mask, the washing portion I didn't mind so much. It wasn't easy to wash it off for me. Took about 2-3 minutes for me to rinse it off. I use the standard face-washing method over the sink then pat dry. Maybe it would have been faster to take off the mask with a wet washcloth but I wouldn't know. I was astonished at how clear my skin was left feeling, not to mention smooth. The purpose of the mask is to minimize the appearance of pores, leaving a refined finish. Tone up the skin's appearance, texture, and color. Certainly did those for me. At the time I never cared for taking before and after photos but take my word for it, that this mask does its job of basically cleaning up my face. Five stars for this guy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Now the famous Floralux. This product is supposed to calm the skin down. After cleansing with their cleanser, I applied a thin layer of this green goop. It feels very gooey-gel like. This too has a dark green color to it - most likely because it's chlorophyll from a plant. I noticed a small difference in my skins appearance using this. Small difference as in I would see my skin looking really good and even toned with a bit of color, then I guess after a while of the product setting into skin, my skin would go back to looking how it usually does. Like the magic went away. So for me it worked, then vanished. This I would give three stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The cleanser claims to calm your skin down with chamomile, green tea and cucumber. Personally, I did not feel my skin being cleaned or soothed by this product. It foams up a tiny bit and from what I've learned from beauty gurus is that cleansers that foam up are generally not good for your skin. You might be wondering how can I notice if a cleanser isn't cleansing my face??? Well because I've tried cleansers that have done an amazing job at completely calming down not just my face but me as well! One star for being plant-based though. ⭐️

Over on the main product in the Clear Skin Routine - the salicylic acid. At the time that I was using this set and mask, I did have acne. Not a significant amount of acne but it was noticeable. Had some red zits across my chin and right cheek. Every morning and night I would cleanse, apple a thin layer of the salicylic acid, let dry then apply the Floralux. For a month, my skin didn't even get better. Sad to say, it actually became worse. Could have been another issue causing worse breakouts but that was the only new thing I began doing to my skin. Maybe I should have continued for three months to see results but the new or current pimples were worse - as in painful! So I stopped using the treatment the last few days and continued with the cleanser and restore. My skin began to heal and felt better. Should I have tried the Hydrate Routine instead? Yes. At the time I didn't think to purchase something that wouldn't help with my acne. Zero stars for the BioClarity salicylic acid. 🙁

I would not repurchase BioClarity's Clear Skin Routine or even the Hydrate Routine. I don't care what I'm getting for the price of it, which cost me about $50 (I used a discount code from a YouTuber at the time of purchase). However I have been really wanting to buy the Pore Purifying Masque again. Hope my review somewhat helped any of you thinking about buying this routine set from BioClarity.
